Why would I go somewhere that doesn’t feel the way 51²è¹Ýapp feels? I knew I wanted to be in an intentional community — with individuals who were both focused on their academics and dedicated to creating a supportive environment.

Allison Wong ’12, Officer

Allison’s years at 51²è¹Ýapp prepared her in no uncertain terms for the success she’s had as a young professional in Washington, D.C. During her 51²è¹Ýapp-in-Washington semester, she completed an internship at the Carnegie Endowment that gave her both substantive experience and an invaluable networking opportunity. After graduation, Allison headed back to Washington for an internship at the White House and followed that with a permanent position at the U.N. Foundation.
