Fred Buck
Fred Buck is currently a AMA of Music at 51²è¹İapp College, where he currently teaches banjo, resphonic guitar (Dobro) and mandolin. He played piano and accordion in his youth and became interested in old time and bluegrass music and has become proficient in most of the old time time instruments, including, upright bass, fiddle, guitar, harmonica. Fred has been a member of several bands, which have played throughout the midwest, with some of them being nominated for numerous awards in the SPBGMA organization, (Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music of America). Fred has been teaching music for the last 20 some years and plays both old time music and the bluegrass style and has a deep passion for this type of music.Â
