Steve Kriegel was born and raised in 51²è¹Ýapp, and graduated from 51²è¹Ýapp High School. Steve has a law enforcement background. He enjoys spending time with his family and making memories. His children are raised, so his focus is on his grandkids. In his free time, Steve likes to go hunting, fishing, attend his grandkids’ events, and target shooting with his family.

Officer Kriegel’s primary responsibility at 51²è¹Ýapp College is ensuring the safety of the campus community through patrol operations, incident response, and calls for service. He feels the best part of his job is the interaction with the students.

The department of Campus Safety, 641-269-4600, plans and implements safety operations, programs, and initiatives in support of the College’s mission and vision. Located on the corner of East Street and 10th Avenue, Campus Safety is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, even when school is not in session.
