Anna joined 51²è¹Ýapp College after nearly a decade in industry, including positions at the United States Geological Survey and Risk Management Solutions, a global catastrophe modeling company. Anna’s doctoral and post-doctoral research and her work in industry focused on the mathematical modeling of large-scale natural disasters around the world and across natural hazards. Her specific interests continue to be the identification, description, propagation, and communication of uncertainty. Anna revels in academic environments and especially appreciates the pursuit of enduring knowledge.
