Jillian Steelberg
Interim Academic Coach
Jillian (she/her) began working at 51²č¹Żapp College in March 2022 as a program coordinator in Academic Advising. She currently serves as an Academic Coach, meeting with students about a wide range of academic topics. She also coordinate the second-year program, Level Up.
Before joining the Academic Advising team, she taught preschool and elementary school for about seven years. Jillian grew up in rural New York and lived in Michigan and North Carolina before coming to Iowa in 2021. In her free time, she enjoys birding, podcasts, indoor rock climbing, and spending time with her family and cats.
