Information security is a high-priority area for the College. This team assumes responsibilities for both operational cybersecurity and cyber risk management, including disaster recovery and legal compliance. The team plays an integral role in all technology design, implementation, and governance, providing both reactive and proactive services.
Network Services provides the College with a solid and reliable infrastructure and consulting expertise, primarily to the technical areas and units of campus. Alongside responsibilities for the wired and wireless network infrastructure and data transmission needs of the campus, this group provides expert support and management of virtualized computing, cloud computing resources, network security, the SAN, enterprise authentication, enterprise backup, the campus’s Linux network, and our high-performance computing cluster.
As the primary constituent-facing team for ITS, Service Management provides first-line support for technology- and audio-visual-related issues. Alongside their high levels of responsive support, this team also provides A/V design and technology support; technology asset management; service management; and systems engineering. This team is also the home to the ITS Student Employee Program and the Springboard Program. The team prides itself on the experiential learning opportunities its environment and dedicated staff provide.
ITS’s most recently launched team, the Data Insights Team is spearheading the institution’s business intelligence program, which is a holistic solution that addresses the domains of people, process, and technology to build a strategic data management organization for the College. Currently working closely with the Enterprise Systems team and with multidisciplinary representation from across the institution, the team is building solutions that enhance data-informed decision-making, cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, and workflow efficiency.
The Core ITS Services Team comprises a dedicated team of project managers; communications experts; and business operations staff. The team also provides training for our students and employees and is directed by the deputy chief information officer.
The Springboard Program is a professional employment opportunity within the 51²è¹Ýapp College Information Technology Services (ITS) department that is specifically for recent graduates.
