The Center for Prairie Studies promotes 51²è¹Ýapp’s location as a teaching and learning resource with special attention to themes of community, sustainability, and place. The Center’s diverse programs encourage the exploration of links between the local and the global in this particular setting: the human place in nature, rural and urban dynamics, migration, food and agriculture, the politics and economics of local communities, and artistic responses to place.
