Global Health Systems GLP Tutorial
This Global Health interdisciplinary course examined the nexus of global health care systems in terms of actual health outcomes, the training of healthcare workers, healthcare policy, and public health. The course investigated the structure of healthcare as well as particular health and illness examples from the United States, Costa Rica, Cuba, and Denmark.
Travels took place over spring break 2018 to Costa Rica and Cuba as well as late May to Denmark.
The 2018 GLP Tutorial instructors were Susan Ferguson (sociology) and Shannon Hinsa-Leasure (biology).
