Garcia, Goodell, and Hoffman Recognized As Outstanding Wilson Center Student Employees
There are many amazing student employees who work for the Wilson Center for Innovation and Leadership – they plan and run our student events, provide a safe environment for creative activities at the Stew Makerspace, and foster innovation as the Catalyst.
Three Wilson Center student employees were recognized this year from the pool of nominations at 51²è¹Ýapp College as Student Employees of the Year. Students could be nominated for Student Employee of the Year in one of 5 categories by their supervisors. Those students selected and recognized at the institutional level were then submitted to Midwest Association of Student Employment Administrators (MASEA) for consideration at the regional level.
Congratulations to Dayana Garcia '26, Brian Goodell '24, and Nathan Hoffman '24! Garcia was recognized in the Diversity category; she is our Media Specialist who helps plan and market Wilson Center events. Goodell was recognized in the Technology and Innovation category; he managed the small student dev team making improvements to the makerspace web-based check-in system. Hoffman was recognized in the Critical Thinking category; he has co-managed the large team of student Monitors who run open hours at the Stew Makerspace. Certificates were presented during student employee appreciation week in April, 2024.
