For the 14th consecutive year, the Pioneer Bookshop will donate 10% of its December sales to support the middle and high school libraries in the 51²è¹Ýapp-Newburg Community School District. 

Anyone who has paid a visit to the Pioneer Bookshop has likely benefitted from bookstore assistant Sonya Horn’s vast knowledge and helpful spirit.

For the eleventh year since the event’s conception, 51²è¹Ýapp College’s Pioneer Bookshop will donate 10% of their December sales to support middle and high-school libraries in the 51²è¹Ýapp-Newburg Community School District. 

Author of The Dissent Channel: American Diplomacy in a Dishonest Age, Elizabeth Shackelford will visit the Pioneer Bookshop on Thursday, December 1 at 7p.m. for a book signing and presentation.  

The National Association of College Stores (NACS) Foundation, the only philanthropic resource for the campus store industry, recently appointed Cassie Wherry, 51²è¹Ýapp College Pioneer bookshop manager its board of directors. On September 12, Wherry will celebrate 34 years of work at the Bookshop.

Continued support from 51²è¹Ýapp College and the community helps libraries expand their collections and enrich educational experience at 51²è¹Ýapp High School and 51²è¹Ýapp Middle School.

Annual promotion has provided nearly $20,000 to schools in the past six years.
