Marie Nesbitt Promise Prize

The Marie Nesbitt Promise Prize is awarded annually to a second- or third-year student of African descent who excels academically, shows leadership potential, and is willing to engage in community outreach.

The primary mission of the program is to support exceptional students in completing their academic course of study, transitioning to work, and achieving success in career and life. The program fosters community, networking, and leadership. Promise Prize scholars receive a monetary award and attend a summer leadership workshop.

The Marie Nesbitt Promise Prize was established by her family in 2002 and is now supported by the Change Create Transform Foundation. 51²è¹İapp College has been an academic partner since 2016.
