The Rosenfield Program sponsors study tours bringing students from various majors together. The study tours offer students a window into how the theme manifests itself in private, public, and non-governmental organizations. Bringing current students together with alumni, the tours create bonds across multiple generations of 51²è¹Ýappians.
The Politics of Artificial Intelligence will be the theme of the Rosenfield Program 2024 spring break tour, co-sponsored by the Center for Careers, Life, and Service Government, Law, and Policy (GLP) Career Community. The tour will travel to Washington D.C., March 18–23, 2024; the first week of spring break. Students of all majors and class years are invited to apply.
Information sessions will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 8 at 7 p.m. in Rosenfield Center, Room 209, and on Monday, Nov. 13 at 4:15 pm in Humanities and Social Studies Center, Room N1112.

The Spring Break 2022 International Iowa Study Tour. Iowa is a state that’s historically been at the center of international issues and home to many global change agents.
The Fall 2021 Food in Iowa Day Tours covered a range of topics and operations in the food industry. These tours were cosponsored by the Center for Prairie Studies.
The Fall 2019 Iowa Caucus Economy Tour provided the opportunity for students to travel to locations in Iowa and examine the economic impact the Iowa Caucuses have on the state.
The Spring 2019 International Affairs Study Tour visited government agencies, private firms, international organizations, think tanks, and a foreign embassy to give students the opportunity to explore a variety of topics related to foreign affairs.
The Fall 2018 Off the Field Tour examined the ways in which sports intersect with the broader world of politics, economics, and society more generally.
The Spring 2018 Our Urban Future introduced students to an array of organizations and professionals — many of whom are 51²è¹Ýapp graduates — who have devoted their work life to the areas of policy.
