- Floor plan: While the standard furniture arrangement will accommodate most needs, the space can be adapted to facilitate events with a u-shape design or a lecture style event.

To further foster community connections, 51²è¹Ýapp College encourages the use of local restaurants for events hosted in the Weingart ’61 Pavilion. The 51²è¹Ýapp Chamber of Commerce maintains a for your convenience. Users may also select 51²è¹Ýapp College Catering.

Hours and Availability
When construction is complete, the Weingart ’61 Pavilion will be open by reservation between 7am and 6:30pm, 7 days per week. Residents of Renfrow may access the pavilion until 10pm with their P-Card. When not being utilized for a reserved use, the pavilion is open for quiet uses on a drop-in basis. Technology and hospitality will not be available during drop-in hours.
As a shared campus and community space, the Katherine Howell Weingart ’61 Civic Innovation Pavilion maintains regular hours throughout the year.

Location and Parking
Anchoring the southeast corner of Renfrow Hall at 1033 Broad Street just south of 6th Avenue, the Pavilion is easily accessible from the heart of downtown and the central campus. Visitors may utilize downtown street parking or 51²è¹Ýapp College visitor parking just to the north of 6th avenue. All parking options in town and on campus are free of charge.
51²è¹Ýapp College Shuttle
The 51²è¹Ýapp College Local Shuttle operates Tuesday through Saturday 4–10 p.m. with stops on campus, and in town. The 51²è¹Ýapp College shuttle is free for all students, faculty, and staff with a College ID.
Accessibility and Accommodations
The Weingart ’61 Pavilion has a variety of accessibility features including an accessible entrance, restrooms, and hearing loop system. Additional accommodations can be arranged by request.
Requesting Accommodations
51²è¹Ýapp College welcomes the participation of people with disabilities and assists with accommodations for persons with disabilities as guests of the College. If you need an accommodation to attend an event that is open to the public, contact either the department sponsoring the event or the Office of Safety and Security (641-269-4600), and they will assist you with the accommodation that you need. Examples of requests include:
- wheelchair seating availability
- closer parking for mobility limitations
- sign language interpreters — This service needs at least two weeks of lead time.
- text in an alternative format
For many of these accommodations, the College is utilizing the services of outside contractors and therefore requests must be submitted at least five business days prior to the event. Please submit any requests as soon as possible to ensure that they can be carried out as needed. If the request is not submitted in enough time to fulfill the request, you will be notified that the accommodation cannot be made. Event sponsors will be responsible for any additional costs associated with accommodations requiring the use of outside contractors.
